im all for finding your identity in this world, but you aint gonna find it wading through a sea of useless stupid bullshit

This pretty much sums up how I feel about all these teenagers on this site.

Yeah, I identify as genderqueer for my own reasons up to and including my dysphoria, but I don’t dare trivialize the issues that Trans people are dealing with. I already have dealt with years of bi erasure and biphobia from the LGBT+ community, so I know firsthand what it’s like to deal with people who should already be on my side telling me I’m a poser and have a fake sexuality, so I really don’t take kindly to people doing this to be again or trying to say they are more oppressed because they are transtrenders.

And while I try to respect everyone’s sexual identity (even the few I believe are not actually an orientation like demisexual, which I see as more of a preference associated with asexuality than it’s own sexual identity) but I draw a line at those who try to redefine something that has been long established because they want to force themselves into a mold they don’t fit in, like claiming a person can be Trans without suffering dysphoria but because they don’t like or fit gender roles and stereotypes.

This is what people mean when they say that this is unacceptable and offensive. And the idea that we are wrong because we don’t pander to you and let you make up whatever you like about yourself is the worst kind of childish victim complex possible. It also makes me wonder about how you were raised and what make you think this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

- Purple, who clearly has very strong feelings about this.
